Richard Mbulu and Evidence Makgopa fire Bakgakga to derby win

Black Leopards lost to Baroka FC which made it their two wins in the DSTV Premiership on Tuesday evening at the Thohoyandou Stadium.

The ball possession was dominated by the host with 71% while the visitors had 29% of possession.

The Lidoda Duvha fired a total of 20 shots with 5 shots on target while Dylan Kerr’s men fired 15 shots with 5 shots on target.

Richard Mbulu scored the first goal in the first minute and 44th minute while Evidence Makgopa scored in the 33rd minute. Phelelani Mfanafuthi Shozi’s own goal in the 60th minute recorded a goal for the host but it wasn’t enough for them to catch up with the visitors.

Makobela got a straight red for a poor challenge which left the ‘Lidoda Duvha’ side to finish the half with ten players in the last 20 minutes.

Baroka snapped up the bragging in the Limpopo derby and they will host Golden Arrows in their next game while Black Leopards will host Maritzburg United
