Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has confirmed the club are identifying and wrapping up a few transfer deare ls ahead of new season.
Amakhosi are believed to have signed defenders Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United and TS Galaxy’s Given Msimango.
Chiefs are also close to signing Cape Town City midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane, as reported by SABC Sport.
Zwane couldn’t confirm nor deny these developments at Chiefs but revealed they are hard at work preparing for the new season.
“We have identified players and we’ll keep on trying our level best to bring in players that we think will add value to the club. At the moment, I’m not at liberty to diverge any information until the team makes that announcement,” he said.
Chiefs host Stellenbosch FC on Saturday evening at FNB Stadium in a DStv Premiership clash.
Amakhosi have won four games in a row in all competitions while Stellies have won six of their last seven games overall – playing a draw in the seventh game.
“If you are to look at Stellenbosch, they’ve won five games in a row so that alone tells you that they are not an easy team to play against. Home and away they’ve been grinding results and they’ve got quality players. There’s no doubt about it. They have a lot of youngsters that took part in our Under-23’s that tells you about the quality they have in their team,” .commented Zwane,
