AmaZulu coach Romain Folz has confirmed that Keagan Buchanan and Ramahlwe Mphahlele have been let go by the club.
The former Kaizer Chiefs players leave Usuthu with three months remaining of their contracts.
“We took the decision to let them go elsewhere because I believe that it’s best for the the team and best for the club,” explained Folz.
Folz insists that all his decisions are based on wanting to do better for the KwaZulu Natal outfit.
“I always do what’s best for the team, that’s my only priority. We have a clear vision on where we want to go. It’s a process, things don’t just happen so you have to take decisions. Every decision that we take is for the benefit of the team and looking to improve what we have. Every decision that we take is to get positive results and outcomes,” he added.
Meanwhile, Folz also confirmed that Lehlohonolo Majoro is still part of the team insisting that he missed the previous game because of an injury. Majoro was said to be on his way out of AmaZulu.
“It was never the intention of the club at any point to get rid of Majoro, he was injured for the previous game with an ankle injury that has been persistent. The was never any issue with him,” he concluded.
