Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the DSTV Premiership standings when they meet Richards Bay on Friday evening.
The Brazilians sits on thirty-four (34) points whilst Richards Bay sits on twenty-six (26) points and are in the third position on the board.
Sundowns come into this game on the back of an hard fought 2-0 win over Swallows on Tuesday and coach Rulani Mokwena is expecting another tough encounter against the Natal Rich Boyz.
“Fortunately, Richards Bay played against Swallow so when we did the Swallows FC analysis it was like killing two birds with one stone. We have had to do a thorough analysis on them because of the type of team they are. They won their last game 1-0 so it won’t be an easy game for us,” says Mokwena.
“Seeing where Richards Bay is on the log, their consecutive wins, and their organisation of forms so it will be a very intriguing game because they’ve got very good players. We’re going to ensure that we get ourselves ready for the game because we know they will be ready for battle “, he added.
The encounter is set to take place at the King Zwelithini Stadium. Kick-off is at 19h30.
