With less than two weeks before the start of the 2021/22 campaign, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) have announced the dates of MTN8 quarterfinal fixtures as well as the venues and kick-off times.
The four MTN8 quarterfinals matches will be played on the weekend of 14 and 15 August 2021, with the defending champions, Orlando Pirates, looking to defend their trophy.
Pirates will have the home ground advantage as the Buccaneers host Swallows FC at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Saturday, 14 August 2021. The match kick-off has been scheduled for 3pm.
Then later in the day, Lamontville Golden Arrows will play out SuperSport United at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, with the kickoff set for 6pm.
The mouthwatering fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will be played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville at 3pm on Sunday.
While the remaining fixture will see AmaZulu FC welcome Cape Town City to the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
DStv Premiership fixtures
The opening fixture of the 2021/22 DStv Premiership will see Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu FC, the two sides that occupied the top two spots in the previous season, square off at the Loftus Versveld Stadium on Friday, 20 August.
There will be a total of five DStv Premiership matches on Saturday and two more on Sunday to complete the first weekend block. The fixtures are scheduled to kick off at 3pm and 5pm.

GladAfrica Championship fixtures
The new GladAfrica Championship season, meanwhile, will get under way on Saturday, 21 August at 3pm.
Headlining the opening fixtures will be the Limpopo derby between Black Leopards and Polokwane City at Thohoyandou Stadium as well as the Tshwane derby which will see JDR Stars hosting University of Pretoria at Giant Stadium.
Newcomers, Hungry Lions and Platinum City Rovers will both make their GladAfrica Championship debuts in the opening weekend when they come up against Uthongathi FC and Free State Stars respectively.
