Djamel Belmadi, head coach of the Algerian national team, announced his quad list in preparation for facing Cameroon in the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The list of the Algerian national team included 24 players. The two teams will meet in Cameroon on March 25, and the return match will be on March 29 at Mustafa Tchaker Stadium in Algeria to decide the qualifying card for the 2022 World Cup.
The list of “Desert Foxes” witnessed the absence of many important names, most notably striker Baghdad Bounedjah, player of Qatari Al Sadd, and Saeed bin Rahma, player of West Ham United, despite their progression to great levels with their teams.
