Norwich City missed out on a first win of the season as they drew 0-0 with Brighton & Hove Albion at Carrow Road.
Brighton threatened early on when Shane Duffy headed over, while Leandro Trossard’s dipping 16-yard volley was tipped on to the bar by Tom Krul on 35 minutes.
Moments before half-time, Josh Sargent passed up a glorious chance to put Norwich ahead for the first time this season.
Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez raced out of his area only to miss his attempted clearance and leave Sargent with the goal at his mercy 22 yards out, but he underhit his shot, enabling the back-tracking Duffy to clear.
Norwich missed another presentable chance when Teemu Pukki chipped wide of the advancing Sanchez when through on goal.
Neal Maupay should have clinched victory with five minutes remaining but sent Trossard’s centre over from close range.
The Canaries are bottom on two points, while Brighton are fourth, on 15 points.
