Ivan Toney scored one goal and created the other for Bryan Mbeumo as Brentford earned their second victory of the season with a 2-0 success at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Toney put Brentford ahead in the 28th minute with a penalty after he was fouled by Marcal.
Wolves almost equalised when Adama Traore’s deflected shot came back off the crossbar.
Brentford doubled their lead six minutes later after Toney’s pass across goal was tapped in by Mbeumo for his first Premier League goal.
The Frenchman curled over a chance to make it three shortly into the second half and later struck the crossbar in stoppage time.
Brentford defended their lead a man down as Shandon Baptiste was sent off with 26 minutes remaining after being shown a second yellow card.
A first win in four moves the Bees up to ninth on eight points.
Wolves drop to 14th with three points.
