Patrick Bamford cancelled out Chris Wood’s landmark Premier League goal as Leeds United drew 1-1 with Burnley at Turf Moor.
Burnley picked up their first point of the season but were left frustrated late on in a match they dominated for long spells.
Wood headed over from a corner before Bamford headed the ball against his own post at the end of a goalless first half.
The hosts made the breakthrough on 61 minutes when Wood applied a deft touch to Matthew Lowton’s goalbound shot which crept past Illan Meslier for the Premier League’s 30,000th goal.
But with four minutes remaining, Bamford converted Jamie Shackleton’s cross inside the six-yard box to earn Leeds a point which takes them up to 15th, one place and one point above the Clarets.
