Marc Albrighton’s 76th-minute strike earned Leicester City a second victory of the season as they beat Norwich City 2-1 at Carrow Road.
Jamie Vardy put Leicester in front after eight minutes, sweeping in from Ricardo Pereira’s cross. The striker was then denied a second by Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Norwich equalised a minute before half-time through Teemu Pukki’s penalty, awarded after a VAR review for a foul by Caglar Soyuncu on Pierre Lees-Melou.
Both sides spurned chances early in the second half, with Pukki heading straight at Kasper Schmeichel, while James Maddison shot wide from a tight angle for Leicester.
Albrighton restored Leicester’s advantage, producing a fine first-time finish after being played in by Vardy.
Norwich thought they had a late equaliser from Kenny McLean’s header, but it was disallowed for Todd Cantwell being offside.
Leicester move up to eighth on six points, while Norwich sit 19th after three defeats.
